CRUSH is out today! An anthology from Harlequin books edited by Andrea N. Richesin in which 26 writers, including David Levithan, Melissa Walker, Brendan Halpin, and myself, get real as we reminisce about our first loves. Get it!
This is of course after you purchase the hilariously brilliant satire Beauty Queens by Libba Bray. It’s about a plane full of beauty queens who crashland on a deserted island. I think someone (possibly her) described it as Project Runway meets Lord of the Flies. And I think that about sums it up.
Oh, and while you’re at it, I haven’t read it yet, but I hear the new anthology edited by Holly Black, Welcome to Bordertown is AMAZING. I mean, Holly Black, Cassandra Clare, Cory Doctrow, Neil Gaiman, Charles de Lint…how could it not be, right?
